Prime Cuts this week delivers the return of Toronto’s pop outfit Stars, reaffirming their place as Canada’s most consistent indie pop group. We also welcome back lesser known shoegaze band Airiel, as they deliver their first album in nearly 10 years. Belle & Sebastian are also back with their own brand of melancholy pop and we have Sydney’s Lime Cordiale, finally delivering their debut to great applause. NAATIONS may well have delivered the club anthem of the summer, a cut that draws upon the classic sounds of the 90s to, perhaps, become a classic in its own right. Tune out, and listen in.
