Before we tell you, check out the highlights from last weekend. Today’s going to be a very, very good day, hot too so bring your shade!
Now, how do we narrow it down….
1. FKA’s “Two Weeks” Live
Damn, this girl is fiiiine. And by fine we mean amazingly musically talented, with a sickez
performance style, not a sexualized object. If this video is anything to go by, we’re so
excited and in love with her already.
2. Mac Demarco getting arrested or at least severely blazed
‘Ol Mac always has a cheeky grin on his face and an antic or two up his sleeve. Let’s hope
he brings both in full force for Laneway and does something that he may regret but we will
always rememeber. Like light a cigarette in his butt or something, I don’t know, try and
crowd surf again.
3. No Annoying Totem Girls
We all know them, we all hate them, some of us have even been them, and we probably
hate ourselves because of it. Those girls on their bf’s/friendzone’s/hopeful stranger’s
shoulders, blocking your view and generally annoying the shit out of everyone. Put your
cameraphones down, tuck your buttcheeks back in your shorts and remove yourself down
to the plebeian level with the rest of us. Thankyou.
4. Peter Bibby
If you haven’t had the chance to see PB live around Melbourne yet, make sure he’s on
your list of acts to see at Laneway this year. A true balladeer, Bibby injects that dry Aussie
twang into his songs without turning into John Williamson. A rare feat.
5. David Bowie
Not a chance, but I’d like to see it anyway. Preferably Mid80s minimalist Bowie if you can
manage it please, according to this quiz he’s my jam.
